Jim Counter in Boundary Waters

At the age of 12, Jim began performing in front of audiences and since then he's shared the stage with artists including The Marshall Tucker Band, Toby Keith, Martina McBride, Blackhawk, John Kay of Steppenwolf, Sawyer Brown, Vern Gosdin, Dan Seals, and John Michael Montgomery. In 1991, Counter and his band won the "Hodag Country Band Pickoff." Jim also performed several sold-out shows at the famous Bluebird Cafe’ in Nashville, TN during his time there from 1993 to 2008.
